CVS Caremark All Kids Can
Through their groundbreaking All Kids Can Program, CVS Caremark and the CVS Caremark Charitable Trust is committed to making life easier for children with disabilities and raising awareness about the importance of inclusion. To date, CVS Caremark has:
- donated nearly $4 million to build playgrounds, support infrastructure and launch new initiatives;
- built nine Boundless playgrounds throughout Florida;
- provided funding to build six signature Boundless playgrounds in Boston, Colerain Township (Ohio), Dallas, Hartford, Houston and Los Angeles;
- engaged more than 200,000 associates through community builds, fundraising events and grand opening health fairs;
- identified and supported 10 Area Vice Presidents Boundless playground projects in select regions across the country;
- promoted the mission of Boundless Playgrounds through store circulars, in-store radio ads, governmental initiatives and national media opportunities, such as ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition;
- developed a national call to action by awarding community grants to build Boundless playgrounds; and
- created an innovative Playground Surfacing Scholarship Program to help communities meet the additional expense of converting a traditional playground into an inclusive Boundless playground.
